Stacy Borden began taking photographs at the tender age of five years old. Using his Dad's camera, he'd peer through the view finder and change all the settings. Pursuing this passion through his school years he enrolled in many art and photography classes - in 7th grade he became the yearbook photographer.
After completing high school Stacy moved to Denver where he attended the Colorado Institute of Art's Commercial Photography Program.
Stacy discovered another passion and studiously developed his interest in and knowledge of Ornamental Horticulture and Arboriculture. His committment to the study of our natural environment, its preservation and its beauty is recorded in the fine details of his photographs.
The birth of his son in 2003 has afforded him a myriad of photographic opportunities presented by parenthood. |
